Drake recently went back to his hometown Toronto for the MuchMusic special ‘Drake: The Homecoming,’ which originally aired on Nov. 30. Now the network has released footage from the program for Drizzy fans all over.

In the first clip, we see the hip-hop superstar talking about the mutual love he has for his fans. The network followed the rapper to a meet-and-greet at a local HMV where fans from far and wide lined up around the block to meet the star.

He says, “The same way people get funny around me, like, ‘Oh man, my heart’s beating fast’ … Man, my heart beats fast, too. My legs feel weak, too. I can’t believe there’s kids out there [waiting] for 20 hours.”

While Drizzy remained annoyingly hidden under the shadow of his hat’s brim, he was open with interviewer T-rex, touching upon everything from his connection with Rick Ross to his writing process to his collaboration with Rihanna on the title track of ‘Take Care.’ “I think she was a great fit for the record,” Drake said. “Sonically and story-wise, it just all made sense to me.”

Drake’s highly anticipated sophomore album, ‘Take Care,’ was released on Nov. 15. It debuted at No. on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, selling 631,000 copies in its first week.
