Do Cupholders Belong in Couches? (Poll)

The hottest argument of the past year has been whether or not Pineapple belongs on pizza (it does). However, I may have discovered the next big debate for the internet. Buckle up, because things are about to get comfortable.

My friend Danny posted the controversial status on his Facebook that "Cupholders don't belong in couches." As you may have noticed, in the past 20 years, couch technology now includes cupholders in the armrest. The question now becomes, just because we could, should we have done this? It's a very low-stakes Jurassic Park scenario.

I think cupholders don't belong in couches. I hate couches that have that weird middle armrest that opens up into a cup holder. Couches exist to be sprawled out on, and you can't do that if you have a weird console digging into your back.
