It's hard to believe, but it's been nine whole years since the Children's Museum of Evansville (affectionately known as "cMoe") opened its doors to the Tri-State, giving kids of all ages the chance to run, jump, and play year-round while also learning a thing or two. On Saturday, September 26th they'll celebrate that anniversary with a huge birthday bash and a run down the Main Street Walkway.

The day begins at 8:00am with the Discovery Dash at Main Street Park on the corner of 4th Street and the Main Street Walkway. The foot and wheelchair race is open to children ages 12 and under with a registration fee of $12 for cMoe members, and $15 for non-members. All participants will receive a goody bag complete with t-shirt and a participation medal. Children will be divided into age groups for the Dash with the first, second, and third place winners of each division receiving a trophy. All first place winners will also receive a gift card to Shoe Carnival.

Following the race, the public is invited to the Birthday Bash which will feature birthday-themed crafts and activities as well as archery demonstrations from Evansville Archery, a mini-martial arts class with Ussery Martial Arts, birthday cake and more. All activities are free with paid admission to the Museum.
