The Children's Museum of Evansville announces a new permanent exhibit that will showcase the power of aluminum when comes to producing energy.

"Aluminate" will debut on Saturday, January 30th and will be an interactive exhibit allowing visitors to climb around a 26-foot tower to learn facts about aluminum and renewable energy, such as how recycling one aluminum can saves the equivalent of the same amount of energy that can power a television for three hours.

The exhibit will also teach kids about the Science, Technology, and Engineering behind aluminum, recycling, and renewable energy.

According to a press release provided by cMoe, additional features of the display will include a solar-powered airplane, a scarf air maze, and a periscope.

The exhibit was made possible by a grant from the Alcoa Foundation.
