Clif Bar Recalls Certain Products Due to Possible Nut Contamination

Clif Bar and Company, makers of the wildly popular protein bars, have issued a voluntary recall of certain brands due to "possible presence of undeclared peanuts and some tree nuts" which could cause serious health issues for people with nut allergies.

The company issued a statement announcing the recall on Wednesday saying the following products are being recalled due to the possible inclusion of nuts which also includes "almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pecans, walnuts and coconuts":
