Mayor Lloyd Winnecke's 'Clean Evansville' initiative with Keep Evansville Beautiful heads to the city's south side for the next event to help keep the city looking good.

Pickup begins at 9 a.m. this Saturday, March 1 and will continue until 11:00 a.m. Volunteers are asked to gather at locations near Anthony Oates Park located in the 2300 block of S. Lodge Avenue.

Participants will be assigned different locations in and around the park to collect litter including, Lodge Avenue, from Covert to Lilac; Riverside Drive, from Herbert Avenue to Sunburst Blvd.; Sweetser Avenue, between Lodge and Weinbach Avenue; and Weinbach, from Sweetser to Riverside. At the end of the pickup, all trash will be taken to the parking lot at Anthony Oates Park for deposit.
