Tired of swerving to miss that nasty pothole on your street every time you leave the house? The time has come to let the city of Evansville know you'd like it filled (politely, of course).

The annual City of Evansville pothole blitz begins on Monday. The effort is a joint venture between the city and Vanderburgh County. Residents are encouraged to call 812-435-5777 or 800-436-6000 between next Monday through Friday (April 15-19) to report potholes.

Once the county maps out the locations of all the reported areas, crews will begin the process of filling the trouble spots the following week.
