On the recent trip to Vegas, it was a no-brainer that we see Cirque du Soleil - Beatles LOVE, especially since it was in the very hotel that we were staying in - The Mirage.Find out what I thought about it!

Most anyone who knows me knows that I am a fan of the Beatles. Having the chance to see Cirque du Soleil - Beatles LOVE, was something I was really excited about since I love the music of the Beatles, but I had no idea what to expect with the show itself.

If I had to sum it all up with a single word, it would be "WOW!" Luckily, I get more than just one word because this show was spectacular! Our seats were up high so details like costuming & character subtleties were missing a bit but we did have an extraordinary view of all of the high-flying action without breaking our necks to stare at the ceiling. Even with seats in the upper sections of the theater the sound was incredible because for every row of seating there was a row of speakers right in front of you.

I could go on and on about the high flying actors and the amazing dancers - they were simply breathtaking. However, being the geek that I am, the most incredible part for me was the production of the entire process. The floor changes... It opens and closes, and props come out of it and vanish back into it. Things fall from the ceiling and flying performers are brought in on mechanical track systems. I was overwhelmed by the entire experience. I can only imagine the hours of rehearsal and practice that go into a production like this - not just for the actors but for the behind the scenes stage crew as well!

On a scale of one to ten, I give Cirque du Soleil - Beatles LOVE a TEN and I would definitely see it again.
