The new, permanent exhibit debuts February 22nd and will tell the 100 year story of how the discovery of plastics has impacted our everyday life.

According to a press release provided by cMoe, "children will learn about the fascinating and often surprising process of manufacturing and recycling plastics. They will use their ingenuity to create with recycled plastic at the “Creation Station.” Painting on the 6-foot clear LEXAN™ resin panels from SABIC’s Innovative Plastics business will let their imaginations come alive. Toddlers will play and learn with plastic cling match-ups in the Tot Corner, and cMoe Play Guides will offer a rotation of programs in our workshop space. Fantastic Plastic will truly show children how plastics shape our world!"

In other cMoe news, the museum's 'Celebration of Art' will also be taking place on February 22nd with art projects, a dollhouse making demonstration, and dance performance by the Children’s Center for Dance Education.
