Check Out Britney Spears ‘Toxic’ Metal-Country Mix [VIDEO]

I have made no secret about my love of rock and heavy metal music and I will generally tell anyone who will listen that I am not a fan of country music. However, put them together with a dash of Britney Spears and you have YouTube gold!

A friend of mine e-mailed me the link to this video on Friday put together by a YouTube user by the name of Andy Rehfeldt. According to the brief description provided, Andy found the lyrics on YouTube and laid them over his metal-country mix (of which he claims to have played all the instruments) and synced it up beautifully to a live performance video which looks to have been part of a concert DVD of some kind.

Even if you don't care for either metal or country, you'll be impressed by how well the video has been put together. My favorite part comes in near the end at the 2:33 second mark, but that's only because I also love childish humor.

Since being uploaded on May 28th, 2011 the video has been viewed by over 366,726 times, go ahead and make 366,757.
