Cee Lo Green announced this morning on Twitter that he has not one, but two new albums on the way: a solo effort, and one from his hip-hop crew Goodie Mob.

The Super Bowl halftime guest performer and ‘The Voice‘ mentor tweeted, “CEE LO GREEN IS…”EVERYBODY’S BROTHER” new album coming soon.” Then, minutes later he wrote, “GOODIE MOB “AGE AGAINST THE MACHINE” new album coming soon.”

We have no idea how long it will be until the new records hit retailers. It could be months! bBut the fact that Cee Lo is making announcements about them is great news for those waiting for new music from the eccentric soul singer.

The Goodie Mob news should especially please old-school Cee Lo fans like Jamar Rogers, Green’s protege this season on ‘The Voice.’ Rogers said during his audition that he was a huge Cee Lo fan going back to the Goodie Mob and early solo days.

Green won two more Grammy Awards over the weekend, bringing his career total to five. ‘Fool for You,’ a track from his last album ‘The Lady Killer,’ won Best Traditional R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.
