Today is January 20th, 2017. Inauguration Day here in the United States. Today, Donald J. Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of these United States. Today marks the end of one era and the start of a new, uncertain one. One that has clearly has divided our society. Like it or not, it's here, and the time has come to make it work. For everyone.
Whenever my family and I head out of town for a weekend trip or a week-long vacation, we try and stop at a Trader Joe's if the city we're visiting happens to have one. I've always wondered why we don't have at least one somewhere in Evansville, maybe it's because we've never asked for one.
Jamie Foxx is starring in a new movie as undercover cop that gets in too deep and has to find a way to rescue his kidnapped son. Kind of like Training Day meets Taken. I almost wonder if Jamie was the right pick for this role. Perhaps Micheal Jai White or Wesley Snipes or the guy that play Black Panther in the Avengers movie would have been more believable to me...

When winter weather forces schools to be closed, I always figure it's for the safety of the kids. But, I've also noticed school-aged teens out and driving on the days that schools have felt are too dangerous for them to drive to school. Most young drivers are barely equipped to drive, let alone in dangerous conditions...
