Southbound Lane Restriction on US 41 Twin Bridges Starting THURSDAY, Feb 2

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to restrict southbound traffic to one lane on the US 41 Twin Bridges at Henderson starting Thursday, February 2, 2017.

This work zone is in addition to the previously announced lane restrictions for guardrail upgrades on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lane Restrictions on Twin Bridges Moved to Tuesday and Wednesday

Due to snowfall in other parts of the state, work to upgrade guardrails on the Twin Bridges in Henderson originally scheduled to begin on Monday have been pushed back to Tuesday and Wednesday of this week according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Watch for Increased Deer Activity Near Twin Bridges Due to Expected Flooding

With rainfall totals expected to be somewhere between an inch to an inch and a half over the next few days in Southern Indiana and Western Kentucky, Henderson authorities are warning residents travelling across the Twin Bridges to keep an eye out for an increased number of deer in the area as the animals search for drier ground.
