Being born and raised on the west side, I've spent more summer days at Burdette than I can count. My dad's side of the family used to have annual get-together's at the park where my cousins and I would explore while our parents grilled out, and I've spent countless hours at the pool jumping off the high dive and sliding down the water slides over and over again with friends. Now I'm older with kids of my own, giving me the opportunity to enjoy the park in a whole new way.
