The media is supposed to report the news, not become it.

A Hungarian camerawoman has been relieved of her job after she tripped a refugee carrying his child while on the run from police after escaping a camp on the Hungarian-Serbian border earlier this week.

The camerawoman then kicked other refugees. She worked for the channel N1TV, which released a statement on its website (note the foreign language) confirming her firing:

Today, a N1TV colleague behaved unacceptably at the Roeszke reception center. The cameraman's employment was terminated with immediate effect."

The woman has been identified by Britain's Telegraph as Petra Laszlo. While not identified by other media outlets, there was still a Facebook page created to bash her.

The trip caused some pundits to claim the broadcaster was biased.
