The book that is singer Chris Brown's life added another ugly chapter today when he was arrested at his home in Los Angeles after a standoff with police relating to a claim from a woman who said Brown pulled a gun on her earlier this morning.

According to TMZ, police arrived at the singer's home this morning sometime around 3:00 a.m. Pacific Time to investigate the claim. Brown was in the home with several friends, including singer Ray J. who was reportedly there getting a tattoo (???), when an invited male and two uninvited females arrived. The woman who filed the report claims Brown pulled a gun and told her to leave. A conflicting report from someone inside the home claims Brown was asleep the entire time.

The situation only escalated from there.

The SWAT team was called in just before 9:00 a.m. while police attempted to secure a search warrant. Meanwhile, Brown remained inside the home. Around 9:30 a.m. Pacific Time, he shared his thoughts on the entire situation in a series of profanity-laced Instagram videos (WARNING: Videos contain several racial slurs, and multiple uses of the "F-word".)

TMZ went on to chronicle the situation throughout the day, saying Brown's attorney arrived around 12:30 p.m. Roughly 20 minutes later, members of his "entourage" were spotted leaving the house where police searched each for weapons.

That was the final update TMZ posted, however they did report "one gun, other weapons and drugs" were retrieved from the home. They also reported Brown was defiant in dealing with the authorities, throwing a duffel bag out the window and yelling "Come and get me" to police.
