Big Mardi Gras Event Coming to Franklin Street in Evansville this Weekend
Laissez le bon temps rouler!! That’s how the French-Creole say “Let the good times roll!” – which is of course what Mardi Gras is all about and the Franklin Street Events Association is bringing it to Evansville this weekend with the Mardi Gras Franklin Crawl!
This great LOCAL event has been organized by the Franklin Street Events Association and will include all different businesses along Franklin Street! Mardi Gras Franklin Crawl is happening this Friday, February 8th with the action starting at 6pm featuring Cajun food, live music, shuttle rides, beads – of course, and great local businesses! For just $10 you can get a wrist band and a T-shirt!
All participating businesses will have their own custom beads you can earn as well as prizes/gift cards along the way! Scents of crawfish and gumbo and southern rooted music will fill our streets. A trolley will be provided for convenient transportation. This event is hosted by the Franklin Street Events Association which is a non-profit organization.
Help Franklin Street Events Association improve the quality of life and small businesses for Evansville’s patrons and revitalizing Evansville’s beloved Franklin Street.
