Big Boy considering buying Beats by Dr. Dre [POLL]
I have been in radio for around 5 years since I got my start in 2008 and the entire time I have always had cheap headphones. I am about to get some money back from taxes and one thing I was considering buying is a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre. I know they cost nearly $400.00 which is crazy for a pair of headphones.
The sound quality is amazing, they are durable and I am hoping they last me a very long time. I usually would not spend that kind of money on something like this however, I use headphones 7 days a week. Radio is something I would like to call a career at some point and I think when you are passionate about something you invest in it. I’m not saying I really need to hear The Rob and Kat Mykals in High Definition with incredible bass, but what the heck. Why not?
The Rob has headphones made by Bose and he highly recommends them. I know he probably knows more about headphones than most people. I have personally listened to the Dre’s and loved them and I know this is not a intelligent point to buy them but I want them because Eminem uses them. What do you think? What is your favorite brand of headphones?
