Big Bang Mongolian Grill Opens Tomorrow (And My Review)

For lunch today, I was lucky enough to get an invitation to the soft opening of the new restaurant "Big Bang Mongolian Grill." It was absolutely delicious!

If you are a fan of other Mongolian BBQ places in Evansville, this place is going to please you. I really liked the atmosphere presented in the restaurant itself. It is located on N Green River Rd in the former location of Mandarin Garden. They remodeled the inside and unobstructed the windows allowing nice, natural light into the seating area.

The food itself was absolutely wonderful. You get a bowl and go through a buffet line, loading up on all type of ingredients to make your perfect dish. Then, they grill all of your food in front of you. The most intimidating part of preparing my food was selecting which sauces to put on it. Luckily, if you don't trust yourself to make your food taste the most amazing, they are more than willing to help you out. My dish was wonderfully delicious and I can't wait to get more in the future.

Our waitress was Brooke and she was super nice and helpful. Along with the 6 people I dined out with, our drinks were never empty and she was checking on us on a regular basis. She was everything you would hope for in a waitress.

Overall, I very much enjoyed dining at Big Bang and cannot wait to go back. They open to the public tomorrow and I can't recommend them enough. For the price and service, it can't be beat. Big Bang Mongolian Grill gets the Gavin smile and thumbs up!
