BEWARE! Creepy Clowns Could Be Coming Back to Evansville!

Don't send in the clowns!

With the release of the new remake of Stephen King's IT, clown sightings were inevitably going to start up again. There are already reports of them being spotted in 16 states and the Pennsylvania State Police even released this statement.

Pennsylvania was also the sight of pranksters tying red balloons to sewer grates as a sort of guerilla marketing for the new movie. If you are are (rightfully) thinking that this is happening in Pennsylvania, which is miles and miles away from here, that's a fair point. However, last year, we had our fair share of sightings of creepy clowns right here in Evansville.

With the IT movie only two days away, things could turn into a circus (pun intended) real quick. Just a friendly reminder though to clowns and anti-clown vigilantes: It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt or arrested. Just keep that in mind as you decide whether or not you want to Pennywise it up this Halloween season.
