Batman Comic Number 1 Sells for Unbelievable Price!

Batman made his first appearance in 1939 in Detective Comics no. 27, he became so popular that in 1940 they began his own series, and his very first comic book was recently sold to an investor partnership.  In 1940 when this comic came out it only cost you 10 Cents, big spender,right?  But now the near-meant condition comic is going for a lot more than that! A whopping $850,000 is how much this comic sold for.  I'll give you a second and let that sink in....  did it sink?  For $850,000 I could pay off my car 146 times, I could pay off my student loans roughly 10 times, I could buy 259,876 venti double chocolate chip frappuccinos from Starbucks, or this lovely Batman comic.
