Avril Lavigne is Getting Hitched to the Lead Singer of Nickelback…WHAAAt?!
August 22, 2012 1:08 AM So I totally was not expecting this at all it came entirely from left field. It was just announced that Avril Lavigne and Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger are engaged! I didn’t even know they were dating, and apparently neither did the rest of the world. Good job at being super stealthy guys!
Last I heard she was dating the guy from Sum 41, and that Brody Jenner guy. So when People magazine announced this tonight, I think everyone kind of had the same shocked look on their face.
Apparently on August 8th he proposed to her with a 14 karat rock. 14 karats! Holy crap! You could really knock someone out with that thing! This is going to be Chad’s first wedding, so I guess he decided to go all out. However this will be Avril’s second marriage, her first ended in 2009.
