The event will offer something for riders of all skill levels.

I don't exercise as much as I should, but I do enjoy hopping on my bike when the weather permits and going for a spin around the neighborhood, or even riding to work when the mood strikes.

This year's Rockin' River City Ride takes place at Sunset Park in downtown Evansville on Saturday, April 20th and features a 5 and 10K ride for beginner to intermediate riders along with a 25, 60, and 100K for those in much better shape than I am.

The event will also feature a Bike Park which will include food, vendors, and live entertainment all day, plus a Kids Park complete with bounce houses, games, prizes, face painting, and more. Bike helmets will be given away to the first 200 children and there will also be a bike safety presentation.

Registration for individuals is $25 each before April 10th, and $35 from April 10th through the day of the event. A family of four can register for $50 with a $5 charge for each additional family member after that.

All proceeds will benefit the Junior League of Evansville, and the Evansville Morning Rotary
