The Evansville Otters kick-off the 2015 season this Friday night at historic Bosse Field with their annual exhibition game that benefits Jacob's Village against the Southern Illinois Miners. First pitch is set for 6:35pm.

As has become the custom for this game, the Otter and Jacob's Village will host the "Diamond Dash" with Tracy Zeller Jewelry, where one lucky female fan 18 or older will win a $1,000 shopping spree at Tracy Zeller Jewelery in honor of Mother's Day, which is this Sunday.

This is the 11th year of this partnership between the Otters and Jacob's Village, which gives people with disabilities and older adults the opportunity for a safe, walkable community that helps them find housing that is both affordable and accessible. in addition to helping them build meaningful relationships.

2015 also marks the 100th anniversary of Bosse Field, which opened it's gates on June 17th, 1915. Bosse Field is the third oldest baseball stadium in America behind only Wrigley Field in Chicago and Fenway Park in Boston. It will be an exiting year at Bosse as we mark the centennial of one the most storied structures in all of Evansville.
