The holidays are officially over, and those animals that were given as gifts to loving forever homes are likely very content with their new life. Sadly not all of the animals given as gifts are that lucky. Many of them end up in animal shelters across the country, and the Tristate is no different.

Right now, the Humane Society of Henderson County Kentucky is overflowing with dogs and cats. Because they work so hard to never euthanize for space, they are offering reduced adoption fees on all of the four-legged friends that are currently residing there. The reduced fee will run until January 31st - $50 for all dogs, $30 for all cats. All animals are up to date on their shots, have been spayed or neutered and are microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting an animal into your life, please visit the Henderson Humane Society's Petfinder page, or stop by and visit the shelter to see the animals currently available - 203 Drury Lane.
