Adele, Whitney Houston Occupy HALF of Billboard’s Top 10 Albums

Their sales and longevity continue to impress.  Check out the album sales charts inside!

For the TWENTY-SECOND week, Adele is still on top of the album sales charts with her monstrously successful 21 album.  Whitney Houston is next in second place with her Greatest Hits collection.  Whitney is also in fifth place with the soundtrack to The Bodyguard. Adele's previous album, 19, occupies the number seven spot, and Whitney Houston again clocks in at number nine with her debut album Whitney Houston!

That means that Adele and Whitney are taking up more than half of Billboard's Top 10 selling albums this week!  Together, the two ladies have sold over 587,000 albums last week alone!

Other artists in the Top 10 include Fun., Tyga, Chiddy Bang, and compilations for the Grammy Awards and Now That's What I Call Music! Volume 41.
