So I found this guy on youtube, and well it's safe to say I've pretty much got a new addiction, and it's definitely his videos! You know, you can only hear so many cover songs before they all become very generic, UNTIL someone puts an amazing twist on them such as this guy!

Youtube user 331Erock has a knack for taking pop songs, and turning them into a metal meets pop masterpiece.  Oh and did I mention they're all on his guitar? Holy crap! If you know me, you know that I'm a total rock and roll chick at heart (even though I've got myself a little soft spot for top 40!) So this guy taking pop songs and making them heavy was right up my ally.  Plus, how can you even deny that rockin' Batman shirt?

For instance, I'm a little over the whole Carley Rae Jepson 'Call Me Maybe' craze don't get me wrong I still love the song, it's just the 450 bajillion covers of it that I'm getting sick of.  However this guy has even done that song, and it is one of the few CRJ covers that didn't get on my nerves you can check it out here!

He's also done some great renditions of Flo Rida and T-Pain's 'Low', Lil Wayne's 'Lollipop' , even Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' All of those are in fact incredible, and will blow your mind!

one of my favorite songs he did was his version of Adele's 'Rolling in the Deep' I think part of the reason his covers are so amazing, is because for one, those fret board skills he's got going on are CRAZY, and I LOVE when you can almost hear the lyrics to the song, like the guitar is actually singing the lyrics (even though it's really not, basically it's hard to explain but check it out for yourself, you won't be let down!)
