This weekend I got to experience something for the first time, which gets harder and harder to do the older a person gets. For my birthday, my wife took me to a drive-in movie  for the first time (for me at least) to see DEADPOOL and I must say, it was quite the experience.

Considering I had never been to a Drive-in before, I was unfamiliar with some of the rules of etiquette, which are quite different from being INSIDE the movie theatre. For one, it's considered rude to leave your HEADLIGHTS on when the movie starts. Especially if there pointing at the people behind you. Sorry about that folks in the pick-up.

Also, it's a good idea to bring chairs and a blanket. If you have back seat passengers, they might not be able to see the screen from the back seat, so you're going to have to sit outside the vehicle. And since the temperature drops considerably after dark in the open space of the a drive in parking lot, this is were the blankets or SNUGGIES (yes, I have one, or two) come in handy.

Lastly, make sure your radio dial is working properly or else you wont be able to tune to the correct station to watch YOUR movie. You end up listening to one movie while watching another.

All in all, I had a great time with the family and enjoy a good movie. What was the last "FIRST" you experienced? Leave your answer in the comment box and I'll read them during next weeks show.
