Chocolate by itself is awesome. But every once in a while it doesn't hurt to shake things up a bit with a few tasty additions. Here are a few I've come up with.

1. More Chocolate....DUH.

Stir in a spoonful of Nutella while it's still really hot. I'm absolutely obsessed with Nutella, so I add more than a normal person probably would. But if you prefer regular chocolate, add a few chocolate chips to the bottom of the cup before you pour the hot cocoa in and then stir.

2. Add some fluff.

Marshmallow fluff is basically a really sticky marshmallow sauce. Put a spoonful of it in your hot cocoa and it will melt into the mixture, replacing your standard marshmallows.

3. Add some fall flavor.

Every fall, there is an explosion of holiday/fall flavors of coffee creamer. Turns out, coffee creamer is good in other drinks, like hot chocolate.

4. Peanut Buttery Goodness

Try adding a spoonful of peanut butter and letting it melt into your hot chocolate. Because lets be honest, nothing going with chocolate better than peanut butter.

5. Peppermint Hot Cocoa

Throw in a candy can as a stirring stick for that peppermint taste.
