It's "the Lloyd" not SR 62

It's a well known fact you can get anywhere in Evansville from the Lloyd Expressway, but when someone from out of town asks you about "SR 62" you're left scratching your head.  Ummm do you mean the Lloyd?  What's this 62 crap?  Also it's Diamond, not 66.

You know all about the Grey Lady

You miss the slide at Hartke pool

Whether you go there a lot, or always just saw it from the Lloyd the twisty slide at Hartke pool was always a fun landmark to pass by. #TeamBringBackTheSlide

Chances are someone you know was an "extra" in A League Of Their Own

They may have just say in the grand stands at Bosse field to make it look like a full house, but they were there! And the phrase "there's no crying in baseball" will always hold a special place in your heart. And thanks to social media you'll also never forget the time Tom Hanks gave your hometown a shoutout on Twitter.  WE LOVE YOU TOO TOM!

You know exactly where the Roseanne house is
