5 Things we Say in 2015 That Wouldn’t Have Made Sense in 2005

The world has changed a whole lot in the last 10 years, and just the other day some friends and I were talking about things that we say now that in 2005 would have made zero sense, here's 5 of those things!

Words like "selfie stick" (Melissa AWesome/KISS FM)

2015: "oh let me check Snapchat."

Selfie Stick
In 2005 thanks to Myspace the selfie was just starting to come around, and people were definitely not using a stick yet to take a more wide angle one...

YOLO
"You only live once" that's the motto. But in 2005 if you said "YOLO" the response would probably be something like "is it like a Rollo?"

Now this one is crazy to think about! It was actually started in 2005 when 3 guys bought it, but it took a couple years for it to really take off.

In 2005 twerking wasn't even a thing, and Miley Cyrus was still Hannah Montana, I'm not sure anything could have prepared us for the 2013 VMA's!
