5 Things Kat Mykals is Thankful for This Thanksgiving
Life isn’t always easy. In fact it’s rarely easy. It’s also anything but perfect, but I am grateful for the good things that I have in my life.
With Thanksgiving just a couple of days away, I’ve been thinking about the things that I am grateful for this year. I have created my top 5, and I’d like to know yours.

First of all I’m thankful for my husband. In February I became Mrs. Mike Adams, and I couldn’t be happier. We may not always see eye to eye on everything, but at the end of the day, I am grateful that we found each other in this crazy thing called life.

I’m also grateful for our 3 beautiful children. When Mike & I got married, I not only gained a husband, but 2 very special children that joined my daughter in my heart. I could not ask for better behaved, thoughtful, caring, and compassionate children. The 3 of them are amazing!

2012 has been my first full year here at KISS, and as part of The Rob’s Radio Show. It has been one of the best radio experiences of my life! Everyday I get up and know that I am going to laugh and have fun while I’m at work. I get paid to have fun? Is this even possible? It is & I am thankful! I’ve always heard “Do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” This is my life. While we’re on the subject of radio – I am thankful everyday for the wonderful KISS-FM listeners! Without you, none of this would be possible for me. You keep the airwaves alive everyday when you make the choice to tune to KISS in your car, on your computer, or on your smartphone.

I am grateful for the wonderful friends that I have made in the last year. It may sound silly but for the first time in my life I feel like I’m “one of the girls.” The women that I have welcomed into my life are women that I look up to, and admire. They are strong, independent women who work hard, and are passionate about helping others.

Last but certainly not least… This year, my brother Keith moved to Indiana from California. He & I grew up separately and have never really known each other. Essentially we were family, but were strangers. In the few months that Keith has been here, we have grown together. We are so much alike, it’s crazy! I can’t tell you how complete I feel like my life is now.
This year, I hope that no matter how crazy life may seem, that you’ll take a few minutes to think of the things and the people that make your life better. I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
