With rumors circulating of new places to eat, here are some we need!

Yesterday, it was announced that businesses from all over are looking at the old Siegel's building downtown with the intention of maybe putting in a new restaurant. I decided to ask our Facebook fans what they'd like to see in downtown Evansville. Here are the top 5 restaurants WE NEED in town!

1. Fuddruckers

This is one of the best chains I've eaten at when I'm traveling for comedy. I ate at one in Wisconsin and it was absolutely delicious. They've got great burgers and the best milkshakes. I'd love to enjoy this place more than every once in a while.

2.Joe's Crab Shack

People love Joe's Crab Shack. The closet one we have is in Louisville, and although I've never been there, everyone recommends going there. Unfortunately, Joe's Crab Shack is seeing tough times, closing dozens of locations back in August. The likelihood of them coming here is slim, but it'd still be cool.

3.Jack-in-the-Box

This is the one that I am personally pushing for. I love Jack in the Box more than most people should love anything. If I'm visiting any big city, I usually eat at Jack in the Box at least once. It's so good. The Sourdough Jack is what dreams tastes like. Also, it's a burger place that also serves tacos which should be enough for anyone to enjoy.

4.Dick's Last Resort

The draw of Dick's Last Resort is that the treat the patrons terrible. They write horrible things on bags and make you wear them on your head. And it's wonderful. It's experience dining like none other. Unfortunately, Evansville's sense of humor is questionable at best so this probably wouldn't be successful in town. But, it'd be nice to at least try it.

5.Old Spaghetti Factory

This is probably the most likely to happen, considering the rep was looking at the building downtown to bring this specific business. I've never been but I've only heard good things about it. I tried to go to the one in Indy last weekend but downtown was crazy because of Garth Brooks. I'll have to give a try the next time I'm there. Or hey, maybe it'll open here and I'll get to try it.

There you have it. These are 5 restaurants that Evansville needs. Did I leave any off that should be on the list?
