3rd Annual Kruckemeyer & Cohn Diamond Dash a Huge Success [PHOTOS]

On Sunday, Rob & I had the pleasure of hanging out at the Casino Aztar Events Plaza for the 3rd Annual K & C Diamond Dash. Hundreds of people turned out, and one couple walked away with the $12,000 Hearts on Fire Diamond Ring!

Congratulations Valerie Ellmers & Caleb Holtz for taking home that beautiful new ring!I don't think I have ever seen anyone that excited to win before! Now, in years past, the winning team have become engaged after winning, but this year Caleb said they needed to wait. He wants to do it the old fashion way, and ask Valerie's dad for permission before he proposes. <Insert squeeky 'Awwww's here>

We weren't sure if the weather was going to cooperate, but the rain did hold off until well after the event had ended. Hundreds of Tri-Staters turned out to participate in the scavenger hunt through Downtown Evansville, all of them hoping to land the $12,000 Hearts on Fire Diamond Ring. Unfortunately, there was only one ring, and one winner, but everyone had a great time! We did get everyone to participate in a Thumbs Up for Lane photo while we were there too! We look forward to doing it again next year! Congrats again Valerie & Caleb!
