It's the most wonderful time of the year.  #Summer

This is the Evansville Summer 2015 Bucket List!

1. Sidewalk chalk your friends' driveway with nice and funny things for them to come out to the next morning

2.  Experience a movie under the stars on Franklin Street

3.  Ride the Thunderbird at Holiday World

4.  Have a water balloon fight

5.  Make homemade ice cream

6.  Play the coin flip game in Evansville (Pick a number between 15-25, flip a coin, heads = right, tails = left, then every time you come to a stop sign or light flip the coin the chosen amount of times and see where you end up)

7.  Go somewhere (maybe the riverfront) and actually watch the sunrise.

8.  Visit the zoo

9.  Star gaze in the middle of nowhere, you'd be amazed how many stars you can actually see on a night with a new moon and far away from Evansville lights.

10.  Take a road trip (I know it's not in Evansville, but sometimes you need a getaway)

11.  Visit the new planetarium

12.  Find a sketchy place to eat....they're usually awesome

13.  Walk all the trails Evansville provides including the Green belt, Wesselman Woods, USI/Burdette, etc.

14.  Take a weekend trip to visit the 11 amazing waterfall trails in Tennessee

15.  Watch as many firework shows during the Fourth of July (Newburgh, Evansville, Henderson, and other surrounding cites sometimes plan them on different days)

16.  Paint your favorite scene of Evansville/hometown

17.  Explore Downtown Evansville at different times.  During Lunch on a weekday it's very alive with more businesses open.  At night the bars open on Main Street and even over at the Art District.  On Lazy weekends you can grab a coffee at Penny Lane and enjoy the day with someone you love.

18.  Plan a day of fun.  Start off at Sky zone, see a movie, go bowling, and end the night at your favorite restaurant/bar.

19.  If you dare take a swim in the Ohio, check out the sand bar that is built mid summer for boaters to park on.

20.  Create and stick with a work out regime.  It's easier to get out and be active without the cold, plan your day effectively and stick with it, and you'll notice that your day isn't complete without it.

21.  Pretend you're not from Evansville.  Go be a tourist and act as if you're here visiting a relative.  If you super talented, and a bit weird, you could try a different accent :P

22.  See how much only 5 dollars can get you at the casino.

23.  Chase down an ice cream truck,

24.  Go to the Farmer's Market

25.  Have a huge get together with your friends and family, have a bonfire, and of course you have to include smores (You could also try chocolate chip cookies instead of graham crackers to sandwich your smore!!!)

26.  Volunteer with an organization that means something to you, if you don't have the time, a simple donation helps out tremendously

27.  Check out yard sales, you can typically find some awesome things.

28.  And finally, one thing WE ALL need to do.  Stop telling yourself you live in a miserable city.  If it's so miserable, that's all on us, we are the ones who need to change it, and it starts with the attitude of Evansvillians, do something about it!
