Black cats are often overlooked in shelters. They make great pets, and there are a lot of reasons why!!

In the fall of 2011 I brought home a beautiful little black kitty named Boo from the Humane Society of Henderson County, and what an amazing addition she has been to our family! She joined the kitty that I have had for several years. I was nervous that Sophe and Boo might not get along - Sophe has been an only pet for years - but they are best friends! They snuggle together and even groom one another.
