Late last night (Wednesday November 7th, 2018), at the Borderline Bar & Grill in Thousand Oaks, California, a gunman opened fire killing 13 (at this point) and injuring at least another 12.

The gunman allegedly entered the Borderline Bar & Grill around 11:20 last night, dressed in all black and under concealment from smoke grenades, and opened fire seemingly at random at the bar's "College Country" theme night.

According to the LA Times, among those killed in the attack was Ventura County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Ron Helus.  He had been an officer of the department for 29 years.  Another patron at the bar was reportedly a survivor of last year's Las Vegas shooting.

The gunman is reportedly deceased.  Further details are still being discovered.  We will update you with further details.
