10th Annual Vanderburgh County Family Violence Apprehension Detail Leads to 18 Arrests
Earlier this week, the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office joined forces with both the Evansville Police Department and the Indiana State Police to conduct their 10th Annual Family Violence Apprehension Detail.
This collaborative effort was put in place as a means for arresting people with outstanding warrants ranging from family violence and domesticated issues to harassment to murder. Agencies from every state in the country participated in this program.
In Vanderburgh County, law enforcement teams served several warrants for charges including Failure to Pay Child Support, Strangulation, Domestic Violence Battery and Invasion of Privacy.
